1.      Details of the event/activity

-          On May 27, 2024, I participated into an online course called "Using Basic Formula and Functions in Microsoft Excel." It was all about boosting productivity and efficiency when dealing with data in Excel. We went through the basics, learning about formulas, functions, and how to format everything just right. It was super practical, showing me how to make data tasks easier, analyze information better, and present my findings in a way that makes sense. Now, armed with these new skills, I'm feeling pretty confident about tackling whatever data challenges come my way in Excel.

 

2.      Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

-          Looking back on the webinar/activity, I've picked up some really useful knowledge. Firstly, I've become much more efficient in Excel. I've learned all sorts of shortcuts and tricks that make my work much faster. Secondly, my data analysis skills have definitely improved. I've been able to use Excel's tools and functions in smarter ways to make sense of my data. Plus, I've gotten better at problem-solving. Whenever I hit a roadblock in Excel, I've learned how to troubleshoot and find solutions. I've also learned some neat tricks for presenting data, like making charts and formatting reports to look more professional. Overall, it's been a valuable experience that's definitely going to help me in my work.

 

3.      Reflections on possibilities of implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)

-          Thinking about how I can actually use what I learned from the online course, a few things come to mind. I'm going to start using those Excel shortcuts and functions I picked up to speed up my work. It'll save me a ton of time.

 

4.      Positive Feedback (on the event organization)

-          My positive feedback in this online course is that I truly appreciate the activity because it helps me to understand more about Microsoft Excel

 

5.      Suggestions for Improvement to be made/consider for future activities

-          I have no suggestions for this online course because everything you need to learn was already in this course.
