-          From February 20 to 25, 2024, Gordon College Olongapo City marked its 25th founding anniversary with a grand celebration held at our school. The week-long event was filled with various activities and festivities that highlighted the institution's achievements and milestones over the past quarter-century. The students played a significant role in the celebrations, organizing a variety of events including dance performances, a pageant, and themed booths.

 

2.      Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

-          Reflecting on the 25th founding anniversary celebration of Gordon College, several key learnings emerged. The event highlighted the importance of community and collaboration among students, faculty, and staff, as they came together to organize and participate in various activities. The dance performances, pageant, and themed booths showcased the creativity and talent within our school, emphasizing the value of fostering artistic expression and school spirit. The celebration underscored the significance of honoring the institution's history and achievements, instilling a sense of pride and belonging among attendees. Overall, the event reinforced the idea that collective effort and shared experiences are vital in building a strong and vibrant educational community.

-          Reflecting on the practical application of the anniversary celebration learnings, several possibilities arise. The teamwork and collaboration seen during the event can be applied to future school projects, enhancing community spirit. Organizing more student-led activities like dance performances, pageants, and booths could boost engagement and school pride. Additionally, the effective planning and coordination used can improve the efficiency of other school events. These strategies can help maintain and build upon the unity experienced during the celebration.

-          My positive feedback in this event is that it is well organized and totally enjoyable.
