-          An exciting event transpired at Gordon College, Olongapo City on December 5, 2023. Carefully orchestrated under the theme "GCCCS Research Forum," the occasion featured research presentations by third-year and fourth-year college CCS students.

 

2.      Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

-          Attendees acquired valuable insights into honing effective research presentation skills, mastering the art of structuring and articulating key points while captivating the audience.

The emphasis on a thematic focus underscored the crucial nature of aligning research efforts, thereby promoting clarity and coherence in academic discourse. Furthermore, the event shed light on the intrinsic value of involving students in research activities, cultivating a culture of curiosity and intellectual exploration

 

3.      Reflections on possibilities of implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)

-          Upon reflection on the event insights, the potential for implementing key learnings practically emerges as both promising and impactful. The event's emphasis on refining research presentation skills has shed light on tangible methods to enhance the structuring and communication of essential points in academic discussions. This newfound understanding presents an opportunity to enhance the caliber of our presentations, aiming for informativeness while ensuring audience engagement.

 

4.      Positive Feedback (on the event organization)

-          The organization of the event was truly praiseworthy. Every detail, from careful planning to flawless execution, demonstrated a remarkable level of professionalism. The commitment to the "GCCCS Research Forum" theme was consistently evident, creating a cohesive and captivating atmosphere. The variety of research presentations brought a dynamic quality to the event, highlighting the extensive academic exploration within our community.

 

 

5.      Suggestions for Improvement to be made/consider for future activities

-          While I thoroughly enjoyed the event, I'd like to offer some constructive feedback to the presenters. I recommend using a high-quality microphone during recording to ensure the audience can hear the presentations loud and clear. This small adjustment can significantly enhance the overall experience for everyone tuning in.
